Popularity of Music Records-Python Data Analysis Notebook

• Using a dataset of all songs in the ‘Billboard Top 10’ chart from 1990-2010 with a sample of songs in the ‘Billboard Hot 100’ chart but not in the ‘Top 10’ • Imported the dataset, converted to a Pandas DataFrame, and structured the data in a easy-to-understand way. • Tested different hypotheses on what made a song get into the ‘Top 10’, ran statistical and correlation tests in order to find insights. • Compiled all recommendations and final conclusions in a PowerPoint presentation.

Capstone-LARIAT Car-Rental Dashboard

• Presented with a year's worth of data from a car-rental company, tasked with finding trends in the data to make recommendations to the investors. • Successfully built an easy-to-use model in order for the user to pull up all relevant tables and charts by specific branch.

Capstone-Statistical t-testing

• Presented raw data from an investment bank, tasked with making recommendations on how to allocate dollars ear-marked for investment.• Analyzed raw data, ran descriptive statistics, and formulated hypotheses on where to invest so as to improve sales price.• Successfully ran statistical t-tests in order to make recommendations based off the p-value and confidence interval.• Compiled all results and conclusions, and presented recommendations in a PowerPoint presentation.
